Our Subplot blend is a complex wine that provides an aromatic symphony of fresh fruit: red fruits like Maraschino cherries, vine ripened raspberries and even black currants are wrapped with the subtle hints of savory herbs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cloves and pencil shavings.  The wine enters the palate sweet and has a generous, round mouth coating mid-palate. Flavors abound; red and black fruits, figs, plums, dashes of nutmeg, crushed cashews and waffle cone are blessed with a hint of dried herbs and cola on the finish.  The medium to long finish is complimented by the natural sweetness and acidity in the wine.

Our 2011 Columbia Valley Riesling offers our trademark intense aromatics of tangerines, apricots, star fruit, green apple, lemon and lime zests wrapped in a floral arrangement of honeysuckle and orange blossoms. The flavors are equally as fresh and bright with ripe and dried apricots, Bartlett pears, fennel, lemon zest, grapefruits and tangerines reminiscing throughout the palate followed by a signature Eastern Washington minerality. The bright, fresh fruit flavors in the wine are balanced near perfectly with the acidity and sweetness in the wine.

Our eighth year of producing this outstanding 100% percent stainless co-fermented blend offers aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine, nutmeg, ripe pears, lemon chiffon and breakfast melons. Flavors of Bartlett Pears, ripe lemons, Fuji apples and honeydew melons are wrapped in a veil of subtle minerality and Asian spices. The bright, fresh fruit flavors are enhanced by a touch of sweetness and racy acidity indicative of this colder vintage.

Possibly the most aromatically stimulating wine out of this group, the 2009 Conflict captures the essence of this graceful, cool site vineyard. Garden fresh savory herbs, black olives, truffles, red currant, red and black cherries are wrapped in a seamless oak expression that dances gracefully with the fruit. With a sweet entry, a generous, round mid palate and long finish that lasts for a good 30 seconds, this wine is surely a wine that is worth savoring.

The fourth release of this highly sought after blend is a doozy. A blend of cool and warm site vineyards, the wine shows incredible depth and complexity without being overbearing. The darker characteristics of this wine lean toward chocolate, mocha and cola, complemented by a mixed bowl of fruit ranging from black berries and plums to dates and figs. The wines sweet viscosity leads to a long finish that coats the palate with a delicious loveliness.

The fourth iteration of our Chapter Series of wines is without a question a true example of the collision of an extraordinary vintage, exceptional vineyard sources and practices married with unparalleled attention to detail in the cellar. Sasaparilla, anise, cocoa, vanilla extract and cola are surrounded by the blue to dark fruits that one has become accustomed to with this wine, black currants, plums, blackberries and blueberries. With a velvet glove mouth feel, your palate will be thanking you long after the glass (or bottle) is gone.
